Our burdock roots are gathered by hand from the sub-alpine meadows of Carpathian Mountains of Romania one of the most bio-diverse ecosystems in Europe. Wild Bliss burdock roots are mostly from first year cycle plants and is handpicked in late fall or early spring when the plant is rich in inulin and other beneficial nutrients. Burdock root herbal tea has been traditionally used to detoxify the body and maintain healthy blood and skin.
For the perfect burdock root infusion simply put one tea bag into a pot, pour over boiling water, cover and steep for about 15-20 minute. Strain and enjoy as is or with a touch of honey and lemon.
