long. Smith built this trailer with a galvanized steel frame for its anti-corrosion and rust resistant properties. The 5-foot long bunk boards are adjustable providing accommodation for various boat widths and V-shaped or flat-bottomed boats.
Marine-grade carpet covers the bunk boards for mold and mildew resistance while protecting the hull of your boat from scratches. A hand crank winch allows for quick and easy loading and unloading of your boat. The pre-galvanized steel fenders accompany highway-rated 8” tires and a rugged axle with long leaf springs for a durable suspension.

A trailer is properly balanced when the tires are carrying 85% of the gross vehicle weight with the remaining 15% carried by the hitch ball. For example: trailer + boat + motor + gas + all gear, etc. = 600lbs, then the load must be moved forward or backward on the trailer such that the hitch ball is carrying 90lbs (600 x 0.15 = 90lbs).
Too little weight resting on the hitch ball causes dangerous trailer sway. Safe trailering!
