Whether youre an electrician or non-professional, this is the perfect crimping tool for you. It crimps 22-10 gauge insulated terminals with a dual crimp that improves wire retention. Adjustable Compression Wheel Adjustable clamping force coupled with ratcheting mechanism enables precise, repeatable crimps.

Compression wheel can be adjusted by removing screw. Twist right to tighten and left to loosen. Built-in Safety If the tool becomes stuck or jammed, lift the quick release lever and the tool will open.

Ratcheting Mechanism Ratcheting action allows for precise, repeatable crimps and prevents over crimping that would damage wire and terminal. It also conveniently enables you to secure a wire connector in the die before inserting the stripped wire into the barrel. Crimping die is constructed to produce a double crimp, which creates a secure crimp/seal and improves wire retention.

Bi-material handles feature an ergonomic design for a comfortable, secure grip. Once crimp has been completed, quick release lever is activated and handles release. How to Operate: 1) Open the tool by squeezing the handles completely.

At the end of the closed stroke, the ratchet mechanism will release the handles, and the tool will spring open. 2) Place the terminal in the proper crimping chamber (match colour code to terminal insulation). 3) Hold the terminal in position and gently squeeze the tool handles together until ratchet engages sufficiently to hold the terminal.

DO NOT deform the wire barrel. 4) Insert the stripped wire into the terminal barrel and while holding the wire in place, squeeze handles together until the ratchet releases. Allow the tool handles to open and remove the crimped terminal.
