It uses two rare-earth magnets to quickly find studs on the wall where items will be mounted. In doing so, professionals and DIYs will be sure that wall-mounted items stay in place for a long time – and with less effort. The Calculated StudMark does not require batteries and does not need calibration.
Easy to use, simply place it on a wall and move it in a “Z” pattern. Once it locates a screw or nail that holds the sheetrock to a stud, it will hang on the wall leaving hands free to drill, nail or level. It also has two removable markers to help identify and mark a stud.
Because the magnetic stud finder is “3 locators in one”, builders can locate up to three studs without marking the wall. It does both horizontal and vertical locating. This product is compact at 3½”L x 1¼”W x 7/8"H and only weighs 4 oz.
