The 24-place rotor has individual tube slots that contain samples in case of tube failure. Features include whisper-quiet operation; variable speed from 500 to 13,300 rpm; electronic brake; and momentary pulse, continuous speed, or 30-min timer operation. Special rotor design contains any spills, eliminating hazards to lab personnel.
Rotor accepts 1.5-mL tubes directly and other microtubes with adapters. This microcentrifuge can be operated in a cold room. 120-V AC.
