All key blanks include the SARGENT logo and are stamped with the respective key way or keysection. Multiplex keyways can be used together to expand a keying system. Master sections can be used on more than one cylinder with different plug sections, whereas key blank sections can only be used with cylinders of the same section.
For example, a key cut on the LD key blank will operate cylinders with LA, LB or LC plug sections. A key cut on LA key blank will only operate cylinders with LA plug section.
