This is a genuine manufacturer approved replacement part. It is supplied directly from original equipment manufacturer. The purpose of this spool cap is to hold the spool with line into the string head assembly.

To remove it, press on the two tabs that lock it into the string head. This spool cap is made out of plastic and it is sold in individually. This Cap is used in Trimmers.
