The advantage is stability and stiffness.Unlike conventional laminating processes using high viscosity contact cement, the various layers of our tables are chemically welded together using a material with the viscosity of water, pressed in a 50 ton press and heated to approximately 300 degrees. This results in zero glue bumps between the laminate and MDF.This table has a standard 9-1/4 x 11-3/4 opening just over 3/8? deep. Three different tracks are embedded in the table; a combination miter channel and T-track and two fence mounting tracks.
All three tracks are bolted in from underneath making them virtually impossible to pull out from clamping force. All outside edges are sealed with PVC edge banding. Made in U.S.A.
