The operator cover is constructed of molded plastic, and it features a sleek nestling design to cuddle the folding crank resulting in a 1-3/4 inch low-profile projection. This style of cover and folding crank surpasses others where obstruction of window coverings is an issue, This operator cover also conceals the operator hardware. The window crank features a set screw at the base of the handle allowing it to lock onto the spindle, and a swivel knob at the tip for ease of operation.
Overall reach on this crank extends out 4-1/8 inch when in use, and both the operator crank handle and cover are easy to install.
