Number 3 chisels feature a profile that is greater than a Number 2 yet is still very shallow, the radius of the profile doubles with each different chisel number through to Number. 5's.
Swiss made Pfeil chisels come sharpened and are completely ready for use, regular honing is recommended to maintain the best edge for carving. They are constructed with chrome vanadium alloy that is made to Pfeil's own specifications.
