Data loggers are typically configured before measurement to record the measurement parameters at selected measurement points according to the set recording rates over several days, weeks, or months.

The PDF data logger PCE-HT 72 from PCE Instruments is a data logger for temperature and humidity. The measurement range is between -30 and 60 °C, as well as 0 to 100 % relative humidity. A memory capacity of 20,010 measurement data sets allows the PDF data logger to be used for several months.

The storage interval can be set between 2 seconds and 24 hours. To configure the data logger, it can be connected to the computer's USB port and set up via the software. The battery-operated PDF data logger is immediately ready for use and can be placed autonomously at the desired measurement location for several months.

After the recording period, the PDF data logger can be directly connected to a PC. It then automatically generates a measurement report, which can be printed or saved directly. The measurement report includes the maximum and minimum values for temperature and humidity, as well as a graph showing the measurement trend over the entire recording period.

The measurement values can thus be presented in tabular form or continuously displayed through a graph. The PDF data logger stores the measurement values on the internal memory until it is full or a new measurement is started via the software.
