130 dB, with a resolution of 0.1 dB. Frequency weightings A, C or Z can be selected in the device. The frequency range of the device is between 20 and 8000 Hz and the Noise Meter also has a key for selecting the time weighting between fast and slow.
The Noise Meter is powered by four AAA batteries but can also be operated via an external 6 V power supply, which offers the advantage of flexible and mobile use and also enables longer measurement times. The measurement results are displayed either as numerical values or as a bar graph on a 2.2-inch LCD screen. Our Noise Meter has measurement functions such as HOLD and MAX and is equipped with a condenser microphone.
The device complies with the standards JJG 188-2017 and IEC 61672-1 (class II) as well as GB/T3785.2-2010. The Noise Meter is used to measure loudness in various environments, e. g.
to monitor ambient noise in cities, industrial areas or in the workplace to comply with noise regulations. It is also used in building acoustics as well as at events and in music production to assess sound insulation and sound quality. In industry, it is used in product testing to check the noise emission of machines.
