Each vial contains 30 test strips that should be stored only in their original vial, at a temperature range between 41°F and 86°F and below 65% relative humidity. The cap must be replaced immediately after use, and the strips are not to be reused. The reagent composition of each test strip includes flavin adenine dinucleotide dependent glucose dehydrogenase from aspergillus species, potassium ferricyanide, and other ingredients such as a buffer.
A drying agent is included in the vial to help maintain strip integrity. These strips are produced in the United Kingdom.
