The UHi LED is a proprietary development of the manufacturer NiteLap, which, like Nitecore, belongs to the Sysmax Group. The UHiLEDs have decisive advantages over other LED manufacturers such as CREE, Luminus or Osram: More light output, significantly higher spot intensity, much greater light range and longer burn time. The performance data of the MH12 Pro are impressive and unrivalled in relation to the size of the lamp: 3300 lumens luminosity, 505 metres luminous range, USBC charging, 5300mAh battery.
The Nitecore MH12 Pro is switched on via the rear switch, changing the light levels is done via the mode switch on the lamp head. On the right side of the mode switch, 4 green LEDs indicate the charge level of the battery, 4 blue LEDs on the left side of the mode switch indicate the switchedon light level. Two modes are available to the user, the Daily Mode and the Tactical Mode.
The modes differ in the number and arrangement of the light levels and special modes. A builtin optical sensor immediately reduces the light intensity of the MH12 Pro to prevent damage to the lamp or an object (eg backpack). An improved structure of the battery tube surface ensures a secure grip when hands are wet or when wearing gloves.
