This medication is an anti-inflammatory drug indicated for the control of pain and inflammation asscociated with osteoarthritis in dogs.
Cautions Metacam Oral Suspension should not be used in dogs with known hypersensitivity to meloxicam. Keep out of reach of children. How to use For oral use in dogs only.
Shake bottle well before use. To prevent accidental overdosing of small dogs, administer drops on food and not directly into the mouth. Administer this medication to your pet as directed by the veterinarian and follow the instructions on manufacturer's packaging.
Possible side effects Diarrhea, vomiting, weakness, scratching are some of the possible side effects. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your veterinarian promptly. Missed dose If you miss giving a dose, give it as soon as you remember.
