The kit includes a drill guide made of rigid glass-reinforced nylon with a hardened steel bushing, a non-slip base, and graduated positioning stops for quick, reliable set-up on 1/2", 3/4" and 1 1/2" material.
It also comes with a Kreg HSS Easy-Set drill bit and depth collar, as well as a combination hex key and material-thickness gauge. The 6 1/4" HSS stepped drill bit has a 3/16" diameter by 1/2" pilot, a 3/8" diameter counterbore, and a 1/4" hex shank that’s grooved for use in quick-change chucks. To make depth settings easy and accurate, simply align the hole in the depth collar with engraved markings on the shank, which indicate the correct settings for 1/2", 3/4" and 1 1/2" thick material.
