Combining the qualities of ABS and PLA materials, you get ease of use and dimensional stability, making this ideal for working prototypes and manufacturing fixtures. This material is compatible with most 3D printers that use fused filament fabrication with heated non-glass or coated-glass beds. PETG, or polyethylene terephthalate glycol, is a transparent filament with a glossy finish.
In addition to being environmentally friendly and recyclable, PETG has more flexible strength than ABS. PETG is also FDA approved for direct food contact.
