The standard shelf life for soda lime glass microscope slides is approximately 2 years if proper transportation and storage conditions are followed. The slides with ground edges feature 90°F ground edges and corners, making them excellent choices for use in automatic cover slip machines.
The frosted slides are produced using a unique chemical etching process that provides a smooth frosted finish that won't wear out slide marking pens. They are also printed with "Globe" under the frosting area for easy orientation.
