This is an amazing 70's inspired 4-band parametric equalizer. It's never been screwed to a rack so it is flawless. I've used it for recording instruments, and it always was on my 2-Buss with the 20K air band pumping.

Since I'm doing more mastering than recording/mixing these days, I have changed up my gear, but I absolutely loved everything about this EQ! Vintage-style four-band stereo parametric EQ providing exceptional analog musicality and sonic clarity. The Drawmer 1974 takes its sonic inspiration from the great-sounding analog equipment of that era. The 1974 is an EQ for all seasons.

You can use it for subtle shaping tasks that demand a light touch and easy recall, but it's just as capable at surgical sculpting. However you use it, the Drawmer 1974 imparts classic analog warmth and character that is very difficult to emulate in the digital domain.
