When held in the left hand, it provides great balance and control for cross cuts. The auxiliary handle improves ergonomic handling in either hand. The saw's depth gauge locks in front of the saw and it has a 0-50 degree bevel range with detents at 0, 45 and 22-1/2 degrees.
It features two convenient depth gauges, one on the lower guard and one by the housing so depth is visible on either side of the saw. It has an electronic convenience brake for less downtime between cuts and a 360 degree pivoting port to direct dust away from the body.
