The first is Bauer’s comfort pod lining system that includes a hinge pod design to adapt to a player’s head for comfort. The pod includes a layered construction of both IX-Foam and XRD foam for high and low-energy impact absorption. This produces a 10% improvement in side-impact results.
The second key technology is Bauer’s VTX liner foam. This is a lightweight, patented foam for all-around impact protection. It is found in the front, top, and rear of the helmet to manage key impact zones.
The third key feature in the RE-AKT 150 helmet is the new free-form adjustment system. This system provides independent length and width adjustment for a truly personalized fit.
