To regulate the power supply, the AK PA10 has a switch that allows the Class A output current to be adjusted in three levels, tailored to your headphones or earphones.
Additionally, the AK PA10 incorporates TERATON ALPHA sound technology, which generates sound quality that closely resembles the original sound through effective noise cancellation, efficient power management, and highly faithful amplification. Since headphones separate the left and right channels, this can lead to increased fatigue during prolonged listening compared to listening through speakers. Therefore, Astell&Kern has integrated a crossfeed function in the AK PA10.
This mixes a portion of the signals from one channel and sends them with a slight delay to the opposite channel, creating a more centered and natural sound that resembles that of a speaker system, thus providing a particularly fatigue-free listening experience. Crossfeed is generated exclusively through hardware circuitry and not through software.
