It includes one beautiful Absinthe fountain made of mouth-blown glass, four original Pontarlier Absinthe glasses, four stainless steel Absinthe spoons and one bag individually wrapped Absinthe sugar cubes.
The Absinthe fountain has four silver colored taps. They are made of plastic to not damage the glass. Additionally you can easily unscrew them for an easy cleaning.
The highlight of the Absinthe fountain is the removable glass lid with a Green Fairy and the greenish stem. With this Absinthe accessories set up you are a real Absintheur as drinking Absinthe with a fountain is "the real thing". Because of its high-quality this set is as well perfect as a gift (and you can already use it at the party!).
Quality Note: The ALANDIA Absinthe fountains are made in Europe by a glassblower manufactory with a long tradition. They are distinguished from visually similar fountains by their precise manufacturing without craftsmanship defects (there are no crooked taps, asymmetries in the glass or too thin glass, which can lead to predetermined breaking points). You will not be dissapointed by its quality.
How to serve Absinthe with a fountain: Fill the Absinthe fountain with ice cubes and water and put Absinthe into your glass (1 oz.). An Absinthe spoon with one sugae cube is placed atop the glass. Then you open the spigots and ice-cold water drips on the sugar.
Slowly the drops dissolve the cube. The ALANDIA Absinthe Accessories Set "Boule" Absinthe Glass: Handmade original Design The set includes 4 handmade (not pressed) ALANDIA Absinthe glasses "Pontarlier". They are the epitome of an original Absinthe glass.
The glass design is world renowned after being featured in a painting made by Charles Maire for the most popular Absinthe of the 19th century, Pernod Fils. The Pontarlier glass has a reservoir in the stem to measure the correct amount of Absinthe. Like former originals it is nicely cut, to give it a premium and nostalgic look.
Absinthe Glasses: The History The Pontarlier Absinthe glasses got their fame through a Pernod Fils advertisement from the 19th century. The artwork decorated French bistros at the time of the Belle poque.
