If a panel is covered in shade, only that panel will be affected while the rest perform at their maximum levels.
This kit requires 230 square feet of space and could produce an estimated 300 to 750 kilowatt hours (kWh) of alternating current (AC) power per month, assuming at least five sun hours per day with the solar array facing south. This output greatly lessens the impact of a hot tub or air conditioner and could offset one-third of a medium user’s consumption and up to half the cost of their energy bill.
